It's like someone's stuck in 4th Ed.... |
Just a short post for your reading pleasure. So those who read my previous post know that I've just joined a new gaming group and have been very readily stigmatised by the group for my competitive nature. The group is hosting a 1500pt league and I'll be dragging my Mechdar out into the light of day for it as I do love my purple floaty boxes.
I will be running the typical (as I believe) Go Dragons Go Go Go list but am opting for DAVU rather than melta-gun Storm guardians as Stelek often advocates. I find that with this list, and at this point level, what my dragons can't deal with my prism cannons can. :)
Without further ado here we go!
Farseer: 100pts
Guide, Runes of Warding, Runes of Witnessing
Fire Dragon Aspect Warriors: 96pts
6 Fire Dragons
Mounted in Wave Serpent Transport: 135pts
Twin-linked Scatter Lasers, Spirit Stones, Shuriken Cannon upgrade
Fire Dragon Aspect Warriors: 80pts
5 Fire Dragons

I've got a lot of practice with the above, and regularly do well with it at clubs. Not really needing to describe how it works (this is an Eldar fanatic's blog after all). As the club is more FAAC than WAAC, I think I'll do fine and dandy with it.
To close, a lovely picture of me refusing a flank to someone at Warhammer World. I tabled this guy in three turns. lol. :)
Yes, so what my tanks are purple. Deal with it. |

Nothing wrong with purple tanks, I love my Eldar purple tanks, I even put the forge World bits on my Falcon and Fire Prisms
Man its a little bit competitive there.
IMO you should be doing a footslogging list.
Maybe all guardians?
Support Weapons for your heavy support slots, and swooping hawks for anti tank.
Thing is Kris, I don't actually have models for non competitive Eldar play lol.
Most of my tanks have forge world pieces. :)
