My army isn't 100% painted, but its all 3 colours, and I didn't bother my arse buying new Fire Prisms, or repainting the stand out Fire Dragon who replaced the one I broke like a tosser.
Honestly, my army will probably look like shit, especially since I'm lazing about instead of painting it now...but whatever.
While obviously I'd love to win, I'm a little out of practice with Eldar...but its going to be about meeting some cool guys for a few competitively minded games, not seal-clubbing! (Basically, I don't expect to win the whole thing, and will be satisfied with having fun. Losing under 50% is the only 'hard target' I'm setting here.)
Oh, and none of my amigos seem to be going, save for Its_Pug. Thanks guys. :/ No, building a titan isn't a valid excuse for being skint. Lol. Now, to try and find the list I eventually settled on so I can make sure its all packed...

Good stuff. Buy your drink up North as its more expensive down here by an unhealthy margin. You can get smashed in town for cheap enough though - there's a place that's selling pints or glasses of wine for €3 til 11pm. It smells a bit like pee sometimes though.
Are you heading down here by bus or have you splashed on an overpriced train ticket btw? If you're staying in Sheila's lmk as I'm living about 5 mins walk away from it. We can start drinking early.

@Joe - thanks again, it was a good practise in the end, I learned (or relearned, lol!) A few things. Pity I forgot the camera until Turn 4 or whatever it was. :(
If anyone else is interested, Joe's army beat the crap out of mine for 5turns, but in the end 8 Grav Tanks was enough to contest 2 of 5 Objectives, while I held 2 others, and Eldrad stood around the 5th over a couple corpses he had just Swept. Lol
No joke, until T5 I thought I had lost - pretty much from the instant he seized...

the best thing about that entire game, was the fact you and almost everyone else laught at my army not having a single Melta Weapon. and of all the weapons to immobilise most of your tanks, it had to be the Multi-Laser...lol. tis a shame you must now bare....lol
still a little gutted that i lost though. tried everything to immobilise that last Wave Serpant and then shoot at the Dire Avengers inside. same with that other immobilsed Wave Serpant with the other Dire Avenger Squad.
and as i said on tuesday, my entire strategy relied on me getting the Inititive. it all could have gone wrong for me.....horribly wrong.
oh and you only had 3 working Grav Tanks left, not 8....but you had 8 tanks in total, so that must have been what you meant.
well to summarise the game in another way, we are both 2 for 2.
i have twice destroyed most of what you have on the table, and you have twice beaten me regardless....lol
